Allow me to introduce myself first. My name is Peggy Zhou, sales manager at QIS Production Ltd. I have been in the packaging business since 2009 . In the start of my career, I was assigned to work at our different workshop in our manufactory. My internship began in the summer and it was very hot in the workshops. The machine was roaring .The air was stuffy and large sweat drops run down my face. While the conditions were challenging, I learned the business of packaging from the ground floor up. The experience gave me a whole perspective of the manufacturing process, which enabled me to offer better services to our customers.

When working in the packaging business, cold emailing is one of the more economical ways to establish customer contacts. Five years ago I received an unexpected email from a South Africa CEO. Unlike other potential customers who might have been interested in our products after receiving our promotion email, he gave me a very long email telling me about how bad an experience he had with Chinese supplier. He declared he would never believe Chinese people. “Chinese have no souls”, he wrote. Up until today, I can still remember his last words in his email. I felt sorry for his bad experience. Due to a few unethical business people here who may have upset some overseas customers, they may have left a negative image for the rest of us in the industry. However, those last words upset me. I tried to use a calm tone to tell him that most of us are honest people, and that we would not sacrifice our good reputation and faith of our valued customer, simply to obtain a short-time benefit. My reply did not seem to convince him, as he later wrote me a 10,000 word email. I was totally defeated by his eloquent, passionate and powerfully long statement. I knew if I would email him again, a real debate would ensue, as he would use more words to demonstrate how right he was.

This experience made me think: The world seems to be skeptical. It is not wrong for people to become prudent and to carefully choose the right partner to work with. How we can build that customer trust seems to be critically important. One of the world’s greatest sales trainer named Brain Tracy said: “Everything today in selling is building relationships, and the keys to successful building relationships within selling are trust and credibility”. That is quite true. Think over our life, we will find that the most important people in our life are also the people we trust most.

Today and every day, we still work on building trust and credibility with our customers. We understand the importance of earning customers’ trust from the smallest of things to any challenges that may arise, by working efficiently and with integrity.

For example, in 2016 we discovered that an extra manufacturing procedure (coating) for a customer order of 20,000 aluminum bottles was unnecessarily done. Without much delay, we reproduced this order quickly at our cost. This error rarely happens in our mass production, however we took 100% responsibility for our product. Our customer was very appreciative.We are totally committed to offering complete customer satisfaction.

We value our customer as our good friends. We often ask them for feedback on ways that we can further improve on their experience in working with our company. They always give us great reviews and any suggestions are always taken into consideration.
